Jeffco Level 3 League

General Information:

- League website - www.jeffcobaseball.com

- League Rosters - each team must register their team on the Jeffco Level 3 website and enter their player roster on the Jeffco Level 3 website.

- Schedules - schedules will be completed at the scheduling meeting and will be posted on the league website within 72 hours

- Standings - will be posted on the league website

- Administrative Fee: $225 per team, please bring payment made to the National Adult Baseball Association to the scheduling meeting. This helps cover the cost of the website, end of season awards, and liability insurance.

League Dates:

- Scheduling Date: Sunday, March 5th, 2023 @ 1 PM

- Place: Dakota Ridge High School – We will let you know the exact location will be determined the week before the date.

- Start date: March 12th, 2023

- Finish date: May 11th, 2023 for American Division, and National Division 

Tournament Dates:

- National Division – May 14th, 2023

- American Division – May 14th, 2023

- Host sites for the National Division will be the #1 Seed from the National and American Division

Rules:    

- Playing High School Rules

- Using Sub Varsity Pitch Count Rules (These are posted on the front of the website)

- Game times: 

    - 2 hours

    - Games can end in a tie. If there is time left on the clock and a game is tied after 7 innings, both teams can continue until the game time expires. 

    - Once an inning has started and the time has expired, you will finish that inning including the bottom of the inning if the home team is behind.

- All games are 7 inning games

- The top 4 teams in each division make the playoffs

- Rosters for all team must be turned in by March 7th so the can be entered and completed on the Jeffco Baseball website by March 13, 2023.  

- Mercy Rule is 10 after 5

Umpires: 

- Jeffco Level 3 Season will use Rocky Mountain Officials to assign games and secure umpires for each team.

- Umpire costs are $60 per game for per umpire, or $120 per games for two umpires

- Please note the umpire fees will be $65 in 2024 and $70 in 2025.

- Each team is responsible for paying the umpires for all of their home games and a $13 per game assigning fee.

- RMO will invoice each team prior to the season. Payment will be made to RMO at the scheduling meeting. 

Rescheduling Games:

- If a game is canceled due to weather, the home team has 72 hours to reschedule the game.  The game reschedule must be confirmed with your home field location, both teams coaches, the Level 3 Coordinator, and the Head Umpire Assigner. Failure to reschedule a game within 72 hours will result in a forfeit loss for the home team, unless the home team's head coach has contacted the level 3 coordinator for an extension. 

 Reporting Scores:

- All teams must report their scores immediately after their games.

- Report your scores via the league website.  Our website will send all head coaches an email asking for your score. It will send you an email within 24 hours upon completion of your game.  If you have not entered your score it will send you a second email within 48 hours. If scores are not entered within 48 hours after completion of a game then the game will be entered as not played and no score. Please note: if both coaches enter different scores in the system it will not update standings and scores. Please make sure both teams verify the score after the game and enter the same score in the system.

Tie Breaker Analysis

Standings are first calculated using Games Back. If there is a tie after the initial calculation, the following tie breaker configurations will be used to break the tie or ties.

5> Total Runs Against
6> Total Runs Differential
7> Lowest Number of Forfeits
8> Coin Toss
